Our packaging

We're a small independent brand doing our best to use eco-friendly packaging for our planet.

Our materials

The packaging in your order is designed to be recyclable in standard household recycling streams. We avoid single-use plastic as much as possible in our supply chain to do our part in saving the environment.

• Outer mailer box: FSC-certified Bleached Virgin Kraft - 33%, Recycled Test - 33%, Recycled Bleached Test - 33% 
  Total: 33% Virgin, 66% Recycled. 
  100% recyclable.
  
  
• Gift box: FSC-certified 40% recycled boxboard, printed with water-based inks. Please remove foam insert before recycling.
  100% recyclable.
  
  
• Paper pouch: FSC-certified biodegradable paper.
  100% recyclable.
  
  
• Care card: FSC-certified recycled paper.
  100% recyclable.
  
  
• Keepsake jewellery pouch: We're currently transitioning to more sustainable pouch materials, however our jewellery pouch is designed to be kept as a storage item for your jewellery.

Our approach

We choose suppliers who share our values. That means FSC-certified paper and cardboard as standard.
We size our packaging to fit the item with no oversized boxes or unnecessary void fill.

Compliance in Europe

For customers in Europe, we're actively working to meet all applicable packaging regulations, such as the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).

• We use FSC-certified, recyclable materials that align with the recyclability principles set out in PPWR.
• We're preparing for the further requirements coming into force between 2028 and 2030, including harmonised labelling standards as they are finalised.

We're a small team and we're taking this one considered step at a time.

Recycling our packaging

• UK customers: all cardboard and paper elements can be recycled with household paper and card.
• EU customers: please follow your local recycling instructions. Cardboard and paper elements are widely recyclable across Europe.
• Everywhere else: all paper and cardboard elements are recyclable in standard streams.
