In light of recent events, we have decided to keep our customers updated with any changes our shipping provider makes with domestic and international delivery during these challenging times.
CHL is still operating and shipping orders. Please allow a little extra time for us to get your order packaged and posted as we only have one member of staff currently running all operations. Our customers can rest assured we adhere to strict health and safely procedures on a daily basis set within our company policies.
Royal Mail have advised us that delays are to be expected as they have recently experienced increased demand of their services, but also an increase in staff absences, so they are running at a reduced capacity which is making it difficult for them to operate at their usual speed. On behalf of CHL we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Royal Mail who is working tirelessly to keep our post service going, we are so grateful for your incredible service!
A statement from the Royal Mail website on 13/03/2020 is as follows: Public Health England (PHE) has advised that people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting the coronavirus. From experience with other coronaviruses, we know that these types of viruses don’t survive long on objects, such as letters or parcels.
